The MSc Fashion Buying and Merchandising Management is one course in a suite of exciting business programmes within Manchester Fashion Institute, including MSc International Fashion Marketing, MSc International Fashion Business Management and MSc Luxury Fashion Management.
You will gain a deep understanding of the role of the buyer and merchandiser, and gain the ability to strategically plan and select a range of high-quality garments, while considering the profitable development of a company.
By undertaking a variety of projects, you will learn how to analyse the factors that influence sales alongside personal and practical presentation skills. You will also learn how to build a range of profitable garments for wholesale, retail or online sales.

In order to produce these strategists, the course aligns itself with successful and forward-thinking businesses and professionals, working collaboratively to produce high-quality graduates who progress quickly within their career.
Students will develop employability skills by engaging in activities and scenarios developed collaboratively with industry partners, replicating external recruitment processes for their chosen career. Students will be given the opportunity to engage in additional activities from industry professionals in the form of guest lectures, company talks and visits to external organisations.
