Academic and other partnerships
We are a partner of choice in high-profile national and international projects that are making a vital contribution to the development of economic and social impacts.
Our research teams have co-authored papers with Cornell, Purdue (USA), Melbourne, Sydney (Australia), Karolinska Institutet (Sweden) and Universidade de Sao Paulo (Brazil), as well as leading UK universities such as Oxford, Cambridge, UCL, Imperial and Edinburgh.
Our work includes:
-
joint projects - we are successful partners in hundreds of high-profile national and international research projects, of varying scope and scale
-
doctoral consortia - longer term collaborations with national and international research partners, tackling some of the biggest challenges facing humanity
-
doctoral training partnerships - we are members of two prestigious research partnerships, the White Rose Social Sciences Doctoral Training Partnership (WRDTP) and the North West Consortium Doctoral Training Partnership (NWCDTP). Through these partnerships we are able sustain collaboration so our research has the maximum impact.
Charities, government and other organisations
We welcome the opportunity to use our expertise with external partners of all kinds. Whether we are sharing facilities, data or knowledge, our research and academic specialists can help develop stronger, more effective policy-making and get charitable bodies closer to their goals.
