University Teaching Academy (UTA)
About UTA
University Teaching Academy offers support, leadership, advice and guidance relating to all aspects of learning, teaching and assessment at Manchester Metropolitan University.
UTA staff work with faculties and teams across the university, aiming to develop academic practice and to improve and enhance the student experience. We work with senior leaders to help develop teaching and learning policy and we collaborate closely with other professional services to make sure that our advice on regulatory and organisational aspects is current and up-to-date.
We offer a suite of CPD opportunities, from one-off workshops (staff only) to taught postgraduate certificate and masters courses. We also offer AdvanceHE Fellowship routes: Associate, Fellow, Senior and Principal Fellow.
What we do
The University Teaching Academy works to secure a consistent, high quality student experience through formal and informal continuing academic professional development opportunities for all staff at Manchester Met.
