Manchester Met Taekwondo Club is open to all styles of Taekwondo, having both a practical self-defence side and a sporting side. The club has many high level athletes who also represent their country in the University Student National Squad as well as recreational participants who concentrate more on the non-competitive side of Taekwondo. The squad currently has 24 National Champions, two European Champions and three World Champions in its competition and league squad.
