Manchester Met Swimming is one of our performance sports, which provides an integrated pathway alongside the City of Manchester Swim team (CoMAST). This pathway is the first Swim England Performance Centre and is supported by British Swimming and British Para-Swimming.

The team has a track record of success  with athletes boasting success at the highest level including Olympic finals, Paralympic Champions as well as medallists at the Commonwealth Games, World Championships, World University and European Championships.

The team is based at the Commonwealth Games facility in the city centre and is a Swim England Performance Centre.

As a result of the unique partnership between the University and CoMAST our Swim team has moved from being outside the top 50 team at BUCS level, to a consistent top five in the last few years.
