The School of Nursing and Public Health is home to a diverse range of experts who have all been practising nurses, health visitors or emergency practitioners within their careers.
Alongside their academic duties, a number of our staff continue to work in practice, ensuring that the academic skills they teach are real, relevant and up-to-date with current NHS standards.
We’re ranked 4th in UK for nursing (The Guardian University Guide 2022) and we are home to award-winning staff, honoured for their contributions towards equality, diversity and inclusion.
The school also holds strong partnerships with local NHS Trusts, providing students with access to quality practice placements.
