Money MattersYour foundation year is only the beginning of your journey to a successful career. It’s a stepping stone that will prepare you for a full business psychology degree and all the opportunities this entails.
Your degree could take you anywhere – we have graduates working around the world. The option to study overseas or take a placement year abroad can give you a great head start.
Business psychology is an emerging field and the opportunities for an exciting career will continue to grow. Many organisations have already seen the value of having a business psychologist on board – the NHS and Ministry of Justice have entire occupational psychology departments.
Business psychologists are helping Lego understand the value of play in the workplace. They’re helping NASA train astronauts for the stress of space missions. And they’re helping the gaming industry make video games more exciting and challenging.
You could look for work in-house with an organisation (especially in the public sector), or you could become an independent consultant working with lots of different businesses. Many business psychologists also find work writing about psychological issues for magazines and blogs.
You can apply for the full-time option of this course through UCAS.
