To become an effective leader in business you need to make good decisions. You need to take risks and embrace opportunities. And you need to understand the impact you have on the world around you. Here at Manchester Met, we want to help you become the best you can be, whether you want to work in a multinational corporation, a charity or your own business.
Over one year, you’ll build on your existing business-related credits from a HND, foundation year or equivalent to gain a full honours degree. You’ll learn how to develop strategies to help businesses stay competitive, and discover how to solve the challenges all businesses face when balancing profits and responsibility.

1 year full-time
The course lasts one year, allowing you to convert your existing university credits into a full degree. You could be joining us from a business-related HND, a foundation year, or a related subject like finance.
You’ll develop key skills like communication and team work, and you’ll gain a broad understanding of business. Moving beyond this foundation, you’ll learn how to become a leader and how to make effective and responsible decisions for your organisation and the communities around it.
As all business leaders know, everyone learns and works differently. Your classes won’t just be traditional lectures – we’ve made the course interactive and varied to help you really engage with the subject. We use a variety of methods to assess your work, including reports, blogs, portfolios and annotated bibliographies.
