Study abroad: Funding and finances
Everything you need to know about the Turing Scheme
Turing Scheme
The Turing Scheme
Manchester Metropolitan University participates in the Turing Scheme.
This is a UK-wide scheme which provides funding for students to take part in education and training opportunities across the world.
The Turing Scheme is committed to widening access to study abroad and funding is prioritised to supporting UK students from less advantaged backgrounds (e.g., students from UK households with annual income of £25,000 or below), as well as students who are carers, care-experienced or are estranged from their parents.
The Turing Scheme does not provide funding for every student on a University-approved programme overseas.
