I graduated in July 2022 with a degree in History, After looking for jobs in the wrong places I got in touch with the Careers Service. I thought I'd need further qualifications to get a job in marketing, but they assured me I had all the skills I needed and gave me the confidence to apply for the roles I wanted. I've just been offered a job I'm very excited about! Getting in touch with the Careers Service was the best decision and I encourage other graduates to use it.
Ella Walker
2022 History Graduate
I earned a degree in Accounting and Finance in 2022, but during my last year of university, I realised that the finance sector wasn't the right fit for my long-term career. After graduation, I began exploring my options and discovered my passion for helping and uplifting others. These experiences led me to secure an internship as a Future Talent Project Assistant at Manchester Metropolitan University. I aspire to continue working in the charity or non-profit sector after completing my internship.
