- Targetting Microglia/Macrophage to define the mechanism and therapeutics of late onset Alzheimer’s disease with human iPS-Macrophage/Microglia disease model :(1) CD33-KO-iPSCs-Microglia/Macrophage model used forinterrogation of the role of CD33 signalling in the pathogenesisof late onset of Alzheimer’s disease. (2) High throughput screening of small molecules whichincrease Amyloid β clearance by microglia with iPSCs-derived Macrophage/Microglia model.
- Targeting inflammation for the treatment neurological disorders with human iPSCs-derived MSCs (iMSCs) (1) Exosome of iMSCs is used as a novel delivery system for non-steroid anti-inflammatory drugs ( nuclear hormone receptoragonist) to pass blood brain barrier (BBB).(2) Modulation of inflammation and promotion of neuron regeneration with exosome of iMSCs educated Macrophage/Microglia.
