My profile
Biography
I am a senior lecturer and programme leader for the BA Education degree in the school of Education.
Prior to joining MMU I spent a decade teaching at a secondary school in Staffordshire. I led a successful Social Science department and taught a wide variety of subjects and age groups.
My Research interests focus on the sociology of education and include; sensemaking and enactment of policy, academy trusts and federations, management of change and leadership and Actor-Network Theory. I am also interested in practitioner identity and have published in the field of autoethnography.
