Find out about what we offer
The faculty brings together the Business School and Manchester Law School in our award-winning building located in the centre of Manchester.
Supporting industry and commerce in the city since 1889, today we offer undergraduate, postgraduate and research degrees as well as professional qualifications, many of which are recognised by industry associations. Home to over 9,000 students, the faculty is one of the largest and most popular in the UK.
We provide professionally focused education where student experience is at the heart of everything we do. Our key mission is to develop our students into highly employable, socially and environmentally responsible professionals.
We offer a range of subject taster days within the Faculty of Business and Law that provide an opportunity for students to gain a better understanding of the large breadth of subjects offered within the faculty. During the days students will take part in interactive sessions delivered by our academics, working in small groups to explore the subject area in greater detail.

The Manchester Law School offers subject specific taster days for students. These can be held over a half or full day and will allow students to explore what it might be like to study Law at university. Taster days will feature an interactive workshop that allows students to understand key legal principles, a campus tour, and the opportunity to learn more about study at Manchester Met.

We have a range of scholarships designed to support students in their study with us, some of which are subject-specific. To be considered for a scholarship, students must ensure they meet the required eligibility criteria and follow the required application process.
