Apprenticeship standard and assessment information

The apprenticeship standard provides the building blocks of our Healthcare Science Practitioner Degree Apprenticeship. It is the blueprint for the development of our apprentices across the duration of the course. The standard will be used regularly during reviews as a point of reference, and we recommend that you familiarise yourself with its contents.

Unit overviews

Please refer to the course brochure for unit information.

End-point assessment (EPA) guidance

The EPA is an integral component of the course. The masters will be achieved upon successful completion of this assessment. The EPA is designed in collaboration with employers and applies to all organisations delivering this apprenticeship.

Line managers or mentors will be invited to an EPA briefing session at the appropriate point in the apprentice’s course. For more information, please download the apprenticeship assessment plan.

If you require any of the above documents in a different format, please email us.
