Manchester Metropolitan University wins two awards at the AAC Apprenticeship Awards 2023
Manchester Metropolitan University has won Care Services Apprenticeship Provider of the Year and Digital Apprenticeship Provider of the Year at the FE Week and Association of Employment and Learning Providers (AELP) Annual Apprenticeship Conference (AAC) Apprenticeship Awards.
The AAC Apprenticeship Awards celebrate excellence in apprenticeship delivery and recognise the individuals, teams and organisations involved in their implementation. A record 375 entries were received this year across the 19 categories.
This is the first time the University has won the Care Services Apprenticeship Provider of the Year award, and is the second time we have won Digital Apprenticeship Provider of the Year, having previously won in 2020.
Liz Gorb, Director of Degree Apprenticeships at Manchester Met said: “We were the only university to win at this year’s ceremony and it’s particularly great as we were up against tough competition from excellent apprenticeship providers who have been established in the field for many years.”
“These awards recognise the quality of the University’s apprenticeship delivery, the engagement of our employers and apprentices, and our sustained commitment to working with our partners to meet and adapt to their requirements.”
Winners were announced at the National Awards Gala Dinner in Birmingham on 14 March.
