You can donate from the UK or overseas in the following ways:

  • through the Chapel & York Foundation – USA and Hong Kong only

When you make a donation please say what you would like to support, for example, First Generation. We guarantee that your entire gift will reach the area you choose.

You can make a single or monthly donation through our donations portal. Before you make a gift, please read our guidelines for donating online.

Cheques

Please make cheques payable to Manchester Metropolitan University and send them to Development and Alumni Relations, third floor, 6 Great Marlborough Street, Manchester M15 5AL.

Legacy gifts

If you would like to leave a legacy gift, we recommend discussing it with your solicitor or financial advisor.

You can include your gift in a new will or as an amendment. You can leave: 

  • a specific amount of money 

  • an item 

  • anything from 1 – 100% of your remaining estate

Chapel & York Foundation

We have partnered with the Chapel & York US and Hong Kong Foundations, who use Validaid.org as their donor-advised fund. This partnership allows donors in the USA and Hong Kong to support us with tax-effective donations. The Foundation will send you a receipt. Please note that giving in this way will carry a processing fee.

How to increase your donation with Gift Aid

If you’re a UK taxpayer, you can make a Gift Aid declaration to increase the value of your gift by 25% at no extra cost. Higher or additional rate taxpayers can also claim up to £31.25 back for every £100 donated.
