ABOUT MY CAREER
I decided to study at Manchester Met because I felt there was a tremendous opportunity to expand my network outside of North America where I reside, while also pursuing expansion opportunities for my business.
During my time at Manchester Met, I gained many research skills and learnt many techniques to apply to my business. I benefited from critical analysis skills that I continue to apply in my day-to-day as a business owner. Being able to synthesise information and efficiently interpret data is critical to any business professional.
Since graduating, I continue to run two companies based in North America. As a Chief Business Officer, I am responsible for day-to-day operations, finances and growth and the expansion of our marketing agency.
MY TOP TIP FOR STUDENTS IS
Find opportunities that you enjoy and that coincide with your skill set.
I would keep an open mind to new technologies. There are many opportunities to work within the digital sector and some of the best ways to be involved would be to meet digital executives and work with local agencies that are working and serving a diverse set of clientele.

WHY I LOVE MANCHESTER MET
I loved the student support team and faculty who were very dedicated to my ongoing learning and growth. I really enjoyed the programme and all the theoretical and practical knowledge I gained through various case studies and discussion board group topics. It was a challenging yet rewarding programme that I would highly recommend to any business professional that is looking to obtain a higher level of education.
