Your alumni Library membership card will be posted to the address that you provide here, so please ensure that it is accurate. Please note that The Library membership cards can only be delivered to UK addresses.

With your alumni Library card, you’ll be able to:

  • borrow up to ten books at a time
  • use the study space in The Library (excludes access to computing facilities)
  • use a limited number of e-resources through walk-in access

Your details are safe with us. All your personal details will be held in accordance with our alumni and supporter data protection statement, which provides details about how we will use information about you.
 

Data sharing

To activate your library membership, alumni and development will be required to share your personal data with the university library and will ensure appropriate arrangements are in place to protect the security of your personal data.

Library terms and conditions

Library alumni membership is granted subject to certain criteria. If granted, it is valid for a maximum of three years. The Library reserves the right to check the validity of an application.

  • I agree to abide by library rules and regulations.
  • I understand that the Library will check university records and reserves the right to withhold alumni access if there are outstanding items on loan, if there are any outstanding debts (of any kind) to the University, or if there has been previous abuse of library facilities.
  • I understand that I will only have access to print materials and walk-in access to e-resources. This access is for personal use only, and I agree not to use the Library for commercial purposes.
  • I understand that photocopying facilities are available upon purchase of a photocopying card. Items may be copied subject to copyright legislation.
  • I understand that the Library is unable to offer access to computing facilities, but a selection of electronic resources are available as a walk-in user.
  • Violation of these terms and conditions may lead to the withdrawal of alumni membership.
