A message of thanks

Celebrating our alumni volunteers

Professor Andy Dainty, Pro-Vice-Chancellor for Education, thanks alumni for helping ensure an excellent education and university experience for our students through the volunteering programme.

Volunteering helps our students to:

  • expand their career knowledge
  • improve their employability prospects
  • build confidence
  • prepare to succeed after graduation

Meet the alumni volunteers

Meet the alumni volunteers

I learned and gained a lot from the mentoring programme. That's why whenever I am able, I always cherish the occasions when I can provide advice to my fellow law students about effective study habits, exam tactics, or insights about life in general.

Become a volunteer
Remember when you were studying and felt the weight of the world on you in terms of questions, coursework learning curves, and adjusting to a new life? This is the perfect chance to give back and help bridge the gap that only someone who has been there can help. Mentoring is more than what it appears at face value. It is not just a growth opportunity for the mentee, but also for the mentor. 1 hour a month is all it takes to give back.
