Steve holds an undergraduate degree from the University of Leeds in Information Systems and postgraduate degree from Durham University in Internet Technology and e-Business. He has previously taught technology and consulting fundamentals to consultants in the US, Europe and Middle East and is currently a tutor for the Department of Operations, Technology, Events and Hospitality Management.

He is also a senior technology leader with experience of delivering complex digital transformations within a variety of industries and sectors. With 18+ years of professional services experience, he has built high performing digital teams and digital cultures in technology start-ups, the Big 4 and public sector ALB’s. His learnings from roles in UX, Engineering, Architecture, Advisory and Account Management have provided him with a broad understanding of digital transformations and their cultural, organisational, and technical challenges.

He has held a number of roles in the Third Sector which have provided an additional perspective on how to pragmatically use technology to enable global change and is a member of several global research firms that provide subject matter expertise to clients on digital transformation.
