Biography

Trained in Psychology, George specialises in technology, innovation, and entrepreneurship, with a strong focus on leveraging digital technologies to tackle grand challenges. He has led numerous research projects on emerging forms of organizing and organizations enabled by technologies, including open-source software, open data, 3D design and printing, Android platforms, blockchain applications, and recently, digital complementary currencies. George has also contributed to methods development in the textual, temporal, and place-based analytics for capturing the temporality and relationality in creativity and design, digital innovation, and entrepreneurship. His work centres on technology in social practices as forms of knowledge commons and societal transformation that shape our digital futures.
