Dean was in conversation with Ginette Carpenter, Senior Lecturer at Manchester Met, where they delved deeper into his book The Black Flamingo. As a special bonus, we got to hear more of Dean’s work as he read his poem ‘Two Black Boys in Paradise’, which you can hear a snippet from on the last slide.
