Thank you @deanatta for attending the Poetry Library yesterday for the Meet The Author event. Dean was in conversation with Ginette Carpenter, Senior Lecturer at Manchester Met, where they delved deeper into his book The Black Flamingo. As a special bonus, we got to hear more of Dean’s work as he read his poem ‘Two Black Boys in Paradise’, which you can hear a snippet from on the last slide.
