Going overseas to one of our partner universities for part of your studies can be a life-changing experience.

It offers an opportunity to study beyond your subject – discovering different cultures, meeting new people, and creating lifelong memories. Depending on the subject, it might involve a few months of a three-year degree, or take up a third year of a four-year course.

Exchange destinations

Perhaps you see yourself exploring the canals of Amsterdam, discovering the beaches of Barcelona, or navigating the waterways of Venice.

You may want to travel even further afield outside of Europe.

We have student exchange arrangements with partner universities in destinations including Australia, Argentina, Canada, China, Hong Kong SAR, India, Japan, Malaysia, Mexico, and the USA.

Every year we send around 250 students across the world to study in one of our partner universities for either one term or one year through our exchange programmes.

I spent six months studying in Sweden and worked in a school for five weeks, immersing myself in a new culture.
