Statement

We work with learners from Year 7 onwards to raise awareness of the benefits of higher education. Our activities are targeted at those who are underrepresented in higher education and we ask that two-thirds of the group that attend the activity are selected from our targeting criteria outlined below:

  • those who are the first in their family to attend higher education
  • those eligible for free school meals
  • those with additional needs
  • those in the care of the local authority (looked after children)
  • those who are service children

Our programme includes online and on-campus activities such as:

  • visits to our campus

  • Workshops that support the development of study skills and independent learning

  • online resources that are available to support teachers, higher education advisors and parents/ guardians to raise awareness of the benefits of higher education. These are all available on our MMUtube channel.

To find out more about how we can work with your school, please contact the team at: [email protected]

On-campus activities will be delivered in line with the latest government guidance around COVID-19 safety measures.
