Biography
Who am I?
Maria taught at three other UK universities before joining MMU in 2014. In addition to lecturing, she has worked in a consultancy capacity for health workers in the London Borough of Camden, providing advice and training on end of life issues and the practical application of the law governing consent to and refusal of medical treatment.
Specialism
Maria is the unit leader for Legal Systems & Professional Life at level 4. She also teaches Criminal Law at levels 4 & 6, leading the Hong Kong Criminal Law provision, and Medical Law & Ethics at level 6. Her research is focused on Legal Education.
