This research evaluates a project funded by the Office for Students (OFS) Challenge Competition.
The project seeks to help graduates develop careers in the creative, digital and technology sectors in Greater Manchester. It also seeks to enhance students’ digital skills and employability more generally.
The project is run by the careers services at Manchester Met and The University of Manchester. It involves a range of interventions designed to develop student skills and experiences, and aims to improve student access to digital roles and industries.
In our evaluative research, we are conducting interviews and focus groups with students and other project stakeholders and partners to assess the impact of the project.
We have also conducted a review of the topic in relevant professional and academic literature, and created some original analysis of patterns into graduate employment in the technology and creative digital sectors in Greater Manchester.
