Summer break services

For most students this academic year is coming to an end, but many of our services and buildings will remain open over the summer period.

Below is a round-up of our summer break opening hours.

Student Hubs

The Student Hubs will be open as normal (Monday – Friday, 9am-4.30pm) throughout the summer months.

You can also call us on 0161 247 1000 from 10.00am to 4.00pm.

Or visit the Digital Student Hub 24/7, where you will find responses to hundreds of FAQ’s.

The Library

The Library will be open during the following times from Friday 28 June

Monday to Friday: 9am - 10pm
Saturdays: 11am - 5pm
Sunday: 11am - 5pm

If you are planning to use the Library or Special Collections Museum over summer, take a look at the Library website before you visit. There may be last-minute updates to visiting hours and availability of space and print materials as we move out of the current building in All Saints to a new space on Oxford Road in the former Science and Engineering building.

The move of our collections will be phased over the vacation, but the fifth floor of the current library building will remain open throughout the summer for study space and access to software. The move will be phased over the summer period and the Library website will be kept up to date with the details of any disruption.

Please visit the Library website for more details.
