Centre for Enterprise team wins Highly Commended at SBC Excellence Awards

The Centre for Enterprise team has won Highly Commended at the Small Business Charter (SBC) Excellence Awards for Outstanding Support for Small Business. This accolade recognises the team's exceptional efforts in fostering innovation and growth among small business leaders.

The Business School is accredited by The Small Business Charter (SBC), which celebrates the UK’s world-class business schools and acknowledges those institutions that play a significant role in supporting small businesses, bolstering local economies, and nurturing student entrepreneurship. 

The event provided a fantastic opportunity to highlight the impactful and innovative work and underscored the significant contributions from the team in supporting the small business community. In turn, the Centre for Enterprise was recognised for its commitment to aiding business leaders in their journey to innovate and expand. 

Commenting on the award, which was presented by Lord Karan Bilimoria of Chelsea, Professor Hannah Holmes, Deputy Faculty Pro-Vice-Chancellor and Dean of Business School, said: “Congratulations to the Centre for Enterprise team for this well-deserved award win. We are thrilled to be recognised for our efforts and to have the opportunity to showcase the hard work and achievements of the team.” 

In 2023, Manchester Metropolitan’s Business School retained its triple accreditation status and continues to be recognised for its high standards, quality and reputation.
