The Haworth Trust Scholarships  

  • Supported by: The Haworth Trust

The Haworth Trust Support a number of different awards within Manchester School of Art, including a Discovery Scholarship and a Studio Scholarship. Recognising the need to help the next generation of artists, these awards provide support to aspiring artists wanting to continue their painting practice.

Kanka Mallick Teacher Training Award

Recognising Dr Kanka Mallick’s commitment to inclusivity and ‘giving back’, and her contribution to Manchester Met.

Dr Mallick was a valued Senior Lecturer in Educational Psychology until she retired in 2002.

Inclusion for everyone was Neelam’s aim throughout her working life. 

Neelam graduated from Manchester Met and taught in a large multicultural school for many years.

PlayStation Career Pathways Program  

  • Supported by Sony Interactive’s Social Justice Fund

Transformational digital technology and creative undergraduate and postgraduate degree scholarships are available for students from Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic backgrounds.

As part of the initiative, scholars have access to additional employability support for example, to undertake placements, internships, and attend conferences.
