Undergraduate tuition fees - rich text section

Most new, full-time undergraduates from the UK will pay £9,250 in tuition fees for the 2024/25 academic year.

Different rates apply if you are an international student.

If you are studying part-time, your fees are calculated by the number of units you are studying.

Our online prospectus sets out the tuition fees and course costs for each course. Some courses have additional costs, such as for going on field trips or if you need specialist supplies or materials.

Our undergraduate tuition fees are set in line with Manchester Met’s rating in the Teaching Excellence Framework. They are approved by the UK government.

Tuition fee loans are paid directly to the University by the Student Loans Company.

Remember:

  • You don’t need to have selected your firm choice university to apply for student finance. You just need to select your preferred course and university. You can easily change your details later if you need to.
  • Tuition fees can change for each year of your course. They might increase as a result of inflation, or go up or down because of change in government policy.
  • You only start repaying your student loan when you start earning more than £25,000 a year. If your salary is £29,500, you will repay around £33 a month.
  • If you haven’t completely repaid the loan after 40 years, the remaining amount is written off.

Please note the figures above are for the 2024/25 academic year.
