Travelling to our campus

Our campus is in the heart of Manchester city centre. Explore the travel options below to help you plan your journey.

Choose your mode of transport

  • Arriving by car (Saturday 23 November)

If you plan to drive, please note that we don’t have any on-site visitor parking.

We have reserved 900 spaces at Booth Street West car park which will be free of charge for our guests if you show your QR code ticket for our Open Day. This arrangement is in place for Saturday 23 November only. We cannot guarantee all visitors will be able to make use of this car park, so we recommend arriving early to avoid disappointment. If you need to find another space, there are several public car parks located in the city centre including NCPAPCOA Parking and CitiPark.

    Car park details

Booth Street West Car Park (sometimes referred to as Higher Chatham/Cambridge Street car park)

    Access via Higher Cambridge Street

    Postcode: M15 6AR

    Height restriction: 2.05m

    Disabled bays: 17

How to get free car parking

Upon arrival, take a ticket to enter and park.

When you return, you’ll need to validate your ticket. To do this, take your parking ticket and Open Day QR code ticket, or programme, to the Attendants Lodge located at the vehicle entry/exit of the car park. The staff in the Attendants Lodge will be able to assist you if you’re unsure of how to validate your ticket.

Please have your parking ticket and either an Open Day QR code ticket or programme, to hand when you exit. If you do not have these, you may be charged.

The car park closes promptly at 10:45pm, so we advise all tickets are validated by no later than 10:30pm to ensure you have enough time to return to your car and exit the car park.
