Due to our city centre location, we do not have any visitor parking on campus.
There are several public car parks located in the city centre including NCP, APCOA Parking and CitiPark.
Booth Street West Car Park, sometimes referred to as Higher Chatham/Cambridge Street car park, is also close to our campus and may be a suitable option for you. Access is via Higher Cambridge Street and the car park’s postcode is M15 6AR. Please note that this is paid parking and spaces may be limited on the day of the event.
Below are the postcodes for our main registration points to help you plan your journey:
- Business School – M15 6BH (Please note we do not have any visitor parking on campus except for blue badge holders)
- Brooks building – M15 6GX (Please note we do not have any visitor parking on campus except for blue badge holders)
Transport for Greater Manchester also operates several Park and Ride services. We recommend using the East Didsbury Metrolink Park and Ride, Sale Water Park Metrolink Park and Ride or the Ladywell Metrolink Park and Ride. Please visit the TfGM website for full details.
Blue badge holders
If you or one of your guests is a blue badge holder and you’re visiting campus on a weekday, please email us ahead of your visit at [email protected] with your full name, car registration number, and choose from the Business School car park (suitable for most courses) or the Brooks building car park (Health and Education courses).
If you’re unsure which will be the most convenient for you, please don’t hesitate to ask. The reason we need to ask you for this information in advance is because our car parks have ANPR (Automated Number Plate Recognition) so we need to provide our Car Parking team with your registration number to ensure you don’t receive a fine in the post from the automated system.
We kindly ask if you could email at least 24 hours before your visit so we can ensure this is in place for you. When you arrive, you are welcome to park in any space (i.e. doesn’t have to be an accessible, or a ‘visitor’ space if these are not available).
If you’re visiting us at the weekend then there’s no need to get in touch regarding your blue badge as this only applies Monday to Friday, 6:00am to 5:00pm.
