Apply via UCAS

The Universities and Colleges Admissions Service (UCAS) is a centralised organisation responsible for managing university applications in the UK. You can apply for up to five courses. That could be five different courses at a single university or five courses at different institutions.

UCAS is offered through schools, colleges or British Council Offices if they are a registered UCAS centre. You can also make an independent application.

Manchester Metropolitan University’s institution code is ‘M40’.

You should ensure that this code is entered clearly on your application form, together with the code for the course you wish to apply for. Find your individual foundation year course code on our list of courses with a foundation year.

Receiving and accepting your offer

You can log on to UCAS to check on the progress of your application.

Once we have made a decision on your application, we will update it on UCAS. If we make you an offer, you will be able to accept it online.

Apply through an education advisor or partner

Our global network of education advisers and partners can assist you with applying for your course and advise you on other matters such as visas, accommodation, travel and more. Our advisers and partners are committed to supporting international students with their application to study at Manchester Metropolitan.

Receiving and accepting your offer

We will email our decision on your application directly to your adviser or partner so that they can help with your next steps. Please inform them if you wish to accept your offer.

If you have applied via UCAS, please accept your offer in the UCAS Hub. If you have applied via an education adviser, please inform them  if you wish to accept your offer.

If you have met all of the entry requirements for your course when you applied, we can make you an unconditional offer. You can skip to the next step.

If you are waiting for the results of further exams or language tests, we may decide to make you a conditional offer. If your offer is conditional, you must email evidence of meeting your offer conditions to our admissions team. Please refer to your offer letter for contact details.

If you have met the entry requirements and accepted your offer to study at Manchester Metropolitan, you must pay a £5,000 tuition fee deposit to request your CAS and secure your place.

Your payment should be made through Flywire, a secure pay online service. If you have an official financial sponsor, you will need to provide evidence of financial sponsorship instead.
