We can help you to improve your English before you start your undergraduate or postgraduate degree. Our courses can also be taken by students who need to meet the English language entry requirements of their chosen degree.

The Language Centre at Manchester Met offers a range of English language courses for students preparing for university study in the UK. You will study with our team of highly-qualified tutors who have many years’ experience of preparing students for university study.
Pre-sessional English
Our Pre-sessional courses will give you the language and skills you need to study a degree course successfully at the University. You will continue to improve your language skills, especially academic language. We want you to leave the course feeling more confident about your academic ability and UK academic culture. Courses run year-round for September and January degree entries.
