Aimed at: exceptional international undergraduate students, with offers for a full-time taught undergraduate degree programme, who will pay full overseas tuition fees.
Applicant Eligibility: you must be a self-funding student from an eligible region with a strong academic background, and have been offered a place on an eligible course starting in September 2024. See terms and conditions below for full eligibility criteria.

- South Asia
- South-East Asia
- North-East Asia
Eligible Programmes:
- 3-year bachelor’s degree
- 4-year bachelor’s degree, including an integrated study abroad or placement year (Scholarship is not payable for the year spent on study abroad or placement)
- 4-year bachelor’s degree, including an integrated foundation year programme
- 4-year integrated masters degree
Ineligible programmes:
- Any undergraduate programme delivered by the Manchester School of Architecture
- Advanced standing entry for degree programmes that are joined at level 5 or 6
- One-year top-up degree courses
Value: 50% of tuition fees in the first year of study.
How to apply: There is a limited number of these prestigious scholarships. You will need to complete an online form and write a 500 word personal statement explaining your academic achievements, reasons for choosing Manchester Metropolitan, and how your course will help you achieve your career goals.
