Degree apprentices combine working with studying to gain new skills and knowledge.

They can be new or current employees, aged 18 or older. If they meet the entry requirements they can study at an undergraduate or postgraduate level, with programmes lasting two to four years.

Offering degree apprenticeships is a great way to build the skills your organisation needs to succeed, whether you are developing existing staff or recruiting new employees.

We can guide you through every step of the process.

Develop existing staff

Many employers choose to offer degree apprenticeships to their existing staff.

Once you have decided to work with a training provider like Manchester Met, you will need to:

  • Find out what funding is available to you
  • Identify the skills your organisation needs and look at the apprenticeships available
  • Get in touch to find out more about our award-winning programmes, if we offer the apprenticeship you need
  • Talk to us about how we can support you

Recruit new employees

If you want to attract fresh talent, we can also help with advertising your apprenticeship by:

Apprentices are driven, ambitious individuals who knew from the start that they wanted to embark on a different path to the traditional university route to a degree. This forward thinking sets them up for coping with balancing finding creative solutions to new scientific problems in the workplace, with beginning a BSc degree for the first time – no mean feat.
