What do we do?
The Residential Life Team are on hand to help students when they need assistance and are championed with community building. We want our residents to recognise the Res Life staff as a friendly presence in residences and on campus, a source of support, and a team you can turn to if you’re having any difficulties or need help with anything relating to your accommodation or University life. The Residential Life Team can help you when it comes to:
- your wellbeing
- co-living advice
- any problems or disputes you may be having with housemates
- help you to register with local health services
- putting you in touch with Manchester Met services you may find helpful
- financial difficulties
- university life
- to find out about up coming social events, or to let us know what events you’d like to see delivered in future
- for general support and advice
In addition to the support available through the Residential Life Team, there are a wide range of services and departments on hand to offer assistance to Manchester Met students. You can find out more here, about services including counselling and wellbeing, accessing workshops and courses, disability support and inclusion services, MMU Sport and much more.
