Biography

Academic and professional qualifications

I completed the MSc in Practitioner Research by Research at MMU in 2003 and the PGCAP in 2005.

I have commenced a part time PhD study into the Role of the School Nurse in Identifying and Supporting Children and Young People at Risk of Child Sexual Exploitation.

Membership of professional associations

I am a registered teacher with the Nursing and Midwifery Council, a Higher Education Academy fellow and member of the National School Health Educators Forum.

I am currently the Programme Lead for Specialist Community Public Health Nursing (SCPHN) and the Award Leader for School Nursing.

Research outputs

Areas of interest include vulnerable young people and sexual health.
