My profile

Biography

I obtained my bachelor’s degree in law at the University of Nigeria, Nsukka, and was called to the bar as a barrister and solicitor of the Supreme Court of Nigeria in 1991. I was in private legal practice for 10 years before undertaking post-graduate studies in law and obtaining Masters and Doctorate degrees from Nottingham Trent University and the University of Manchester respectively. Formerly a lecturer at the Universities of Manchester and Salford, I have held visiting lectureships in UK and overseas universities. My research interests are primarily in international political and human rights Law, although I also write books in Business Law and Tort Law.

Outside academic commitments, I have a passion for human enlightenment and global peace and unity. In this regard, I am a public speaker, the founder and co-ordinator of One Soul Movement (www.onesoulmovement.net), and the author of Jesus and the Fantasy of Salvation, which will be published soon.

Why do I teach?

I teach law because I enjoy imparting legal knowledge to others and helping them realise their dreams, aspirations and potentials as lawyers.

How I’ll teach you

Studying law should be fun unless it was never your desire to do it. To make it even more fun, I bring humour and laughter to my teaching. Instead of only trying to take students up to the law,  I also try to bring the law down to them.
