Biography
I am a Senior Lecturer and emerging scholar of International Business.
Prior to joining MMU Business School, I was a full ESRC Doctoral recipient, fulfilling a PhD at St Chad’s College, Durham University. I hold a PGCert and an MSc with Distinctions in Research Methods and International Business Management respectively, both of St Chad’s College, Durham University. Further, and I hold a First Class BA Honours degree in Accounting with an Ede and Ravenscroft prize. All of which is accompanied by a First Class BBA Honours in Accounting from a National University in South Korea.

My academic portfolio is coupled with international investment analytics experience in South Korea, business analytics experience in China, and academic research and teaching roles with exposure in; accounting, corporate governance, international business and research methods. The aforementioned accompanies my three years at the Fortune Global 500 company Accenture, where I worked in finance and management roles for clients such as; Procter & Gamble, HMRC and Johnson & Johnson.

- Asian Business and Management: South Korea, China and Japan
Interests and expertise
I have lived and worked in South Korea for a couple of years, and have fluent proficiency in the Korean language. I have also undertaken British Council funded work across China. Due to a significant interest in Asian business and management, particularly in South Korea, I make frequent visits to South Korea (Networking events, research trips etc.) and pleasure. I enjoy cycling, travelling and cooking.
Projects
Currently conducting research for a number of academic papers relating to MNE activity measurement.
Teaching
I am currently the Unit Leader for; Global Political Economy - Contemporary Issues (Level 5, Undergraduate), and APPD (Level 4, Undergraduate). In addition to this, I supervise a number of International Business Management MSc and undergraduate students.
