Biography
Prior to joining academia, Ibrahim had worked as a Tax Professional with two (2) of the Big-4 professional services firm – KPMG and Deloitte. His love for accounting and finance spans his first role as a Teaching Assistant at the University of Cape Coast, Ghana after his undergraduate studies.
At Deloitte, he was a Manager in the Business Tax unit where he led talented teams, providing customized solutions to 50+ clients from various industries. He also facilitated trainings at the renowned Deloitte School of Tax (DSOT) and contributed to tax-related thought leadership. Prior to this, he worked with the KPMG’s Global Mobility & Immigration Support, Tax line of business, further enhancing his expertise in the field.
Alongside these, he served as a member of the Network Panel (Governing Council) of the ACCA, Ghana Branch; and made an impact as a Mentor on the Tony Elumelu Foundation (TEF) Entrepreneurship Programme.
