My profile
Biography
I am a Geographer by training, specialising in Geographical Information Science. I spend much of my time working with spatial data, helping students learn how to collect, analyse, and interpret geographical information, and create maps.
Through my previous experience in leading a postgraduate distance learning programme here at Manchester Met (UNIGIS UK), I have developed a keen interest in how digital technologies can assist students with their learning. Currently, I am the Departmental Lead for both DELTA (Digitally Enhanced Learning, Teaching and Assessment) and AI in Education.
Teaching
I teach Cartography, Geographical Information Systems and Science (GIS) and their social and environmental applications, and Fieldwork in UK/Malta.
