Biography
Delivering on the Events Management programme to under and post graduate students studying at Manchester Metropolitan University. Main responsibilities include delivering the option units Fashion Events and Responsible Events Management. Other responsibilities include Carbon Literacy Champion for the Events programme and External Examiner at Ulster University for the Events and Tourism department.
Interests and expertise
Concerned about the impact we have on the planet and actively findings ways to reduce the negative impacts of our daily lifestyles. My teaching covers the United Nation Sustainable Development Goals and focuses on how we can do things better in our work and personal lives. I am particularly interested in the food that we eat when attending events and how to reduce food waste at events, my PhD addresses the issue of food waste at music festivals.

An investigation into festival-goers behaviour and practices towards food waste at outdoor music festivals in the United Kingdom.
