My profile

Biography

I joined Manchester Metropolitan Business School in 2019. Before coming here, I worked as an Associate Lecturer in Salford Business School and as an Adjunct Associate Professor in marketing at ISCID-CO Business School, France. I have worked as a consultant in the Ministry of Finance and Economics, Greece. I have also worked in Public Relations, Advertising, Communication and Promotion Consultancy in private sectors both in the UK and in Greece for the best part of the last two decades.
I am the Programme Leader of MSc Marketing in Manchester Metropolitan Business School and a Visiting Researcher in forLab (www.forLAb.eu), The Forecasting Laboratory, in Bangor Business School.
I hold a PhD from Salford University, and my research focuses on forecasting the success of megaprojects with the use of judgmental forecasting techniques. My work has appeared in leading international journals, including the European Journal of Operational Research, International Journal of Forecasting, Supply Chain Forum, Chartered Banker Magazine and the International Journal of Production Research.

Research outputs

My research mainly falls into Forecasting methods and systems and more specific into individual and group judgemental forecasting methods, most notably variations of Structured Analogies , Delphi and Interaction Groups. Application areas vary from megaprojects, healthcare, humanitarian and retail operations.
