Visiting and honorary positions
- Research Assistant at Brown University (summer 2017) in the Cognitive, Linguistic and Psychological Sciences Department (PI: Dr Joo-Hyun Song), primary work: EEG and choice-reaching task. Funded by the Experimental Psychology Society and the University of Birmingham (Student Development Scholarship).

Interests and expertise
My training was mainly in quantitative methods, but I am using and supervising both qualitative and quantitative methods.
Whilst my background is in cognitive psychology, I am now doing mainly research in developmental psychology (socio-cognitive development, particularly in relation to culture and socioeconomic status, interest in transmission of intergenerational trauma and more broadly child and adolescent mental health), ED&I topics (particularly related to socioeconomic status, LGBTQIA+ and neurodivergence) and belief in conspiracy theories.
Teaching
Teaching on a range of modules, mainly undergraduate modules. Co- leading the Difference & Diversity module and leading the “Flavours of Psychology” module.
Supervising third year undergraduate projects and MSc projects (Child Development and Psychological Wellbeing).
Open to supervision of PhD students.
