Biography

Dr. Connah Kendrick did his PhD in computer vision with 3D+ RGB sensors and model building. During this time, He uses knowledge in other areas to build web-based tools, such as annotating data. He is currently a senior lecturer in the Department of Computing and Mathematics at Manchester Metropolitan University. He works to use computer vision and bring it into multi-disciplinary teams to aid in the progression of their research. In this role, he has aided in multiple projects, including railway passengers needing assistance detection, high-accuracy blob reconstruction for bone, 3D breast reconstruction mapping and 3D prostate reconstruction for accurate delineation. His focus extends into the healthcare domain, where explainable solutions are a key factor in all his outputs.
