Biography

I am a Lecturer in the Department of Marketing, International Business and Tourism. I completed my PhD at MMU and my research expertise is in immersive technologies (VR) and tourism. In particular, my current research focus lies on the impact of VR on tourists and places exploring the business transformation of tourist destinations. My research also has implications for destination marketing and other related areas. 

During my PhD, I worked at MMU as an Associate Lecturer for almost 5 years.

I am passionate about learning, teaching, and supporting students to enhance their learning experience. I am also a fellow of the Higher Education Academy (FHEA)

Teaching

My role includes teaching digital skills and research methods for International Business Management, customer experience, and digital marketing for marketing and tourism students. I also have teaching experience in marketing, statistics, and business technology.
