I am currently the lead for final year Practice Learning. I teach across the BA and MA programme and also the Social Work Apprenticeship. 

I was appointed in April 2018 to the role of Lay Advisor to Greater Manchester Multi Agency Public Protection Arrangements (MAPPA). I am also an MMU representative at the Manchester Domestic Abuse Forum. I am an External Examiner at Sheffild Hallam University on the Community Justice Programme.

My research interest and expertise is around domestic abuse, particularly multi agency responses. I am also interested in treatment and interventions with sexual offenders.
