We collect and process certain data about you, including your full name, your job title and the name of the organisation you work for and contact details which may include your email address and phone number(s). This is collected on the lawful basis of legitimate interests.
Your information will enable us to answer your enquiries, provide you with information about our research specialisms and ways to collaborate with us, and allow us to enter into any relevant agreements with you. Most of the data we hold about you will have been provided by you, but some may come from external sources intermediaries such as referrals from Growth Hubs, Chambers of Commerce, local authorities, etc., because you’ve expressed an interest in being referred to us.
Data will be stored in a range of places, including Outlook contacts, and other IT systems such as project databases and client relationship management databases managed by Manchester Met. If you have any questions about how we use your data, please contact [email protected].
We will only retain your personal data on our contact list for the length of your involvement with any University research and knowledge exchange collaborations, or as long as you continue to wish to explore potential future collaborations, in accordance with the University’s Retention and Disposal Schedule.
